Easy Veggie Stir-Fry with Garlic and Soy Sauce

This easy veggie stir-fry is a vibrant, healthy, and quick meal perfect for busy weeknights. Packed with colorful vegetables and flavored with a savory garlic-soy sauce, it’s delicious on its own or served over rice or noodles. The recipe is versatile and can be customized with your favorite veggies or protein for a balanced, wholesome dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup snap peas or green beans

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add the carrots and broccoli, stir-fry for 3 minutes.

  4. Toss in bell pepper and snap peas, cook for another 2–3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

  5. Stir in soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Mix well to coat all vegetables.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles for a satisfying and nutritious meal. You can add tofu, chicken, or shrimp for added protein.
